Can Helium Music Streamer play files located on a network share?

Yes, this is possible, but sometimes it will require some changes in your setup.

Please check that you are not using a mapped network drive such as X:, which does not work properly on all systems. A solution to this problem is to use the corresponding UNC path instead such as \\MACHINENAME\FOLDER when adding your files to Helium Music Manager.

If your network share requires password you can turn on Impersonation in the configuration utility.

If you have already added all your music to Helium Music Managers library using regular paths (C:\xxx, D:\yyy etc) you can easily switch to UNC paths using the Remap Path utility in Helium Music Manager.
